2. What can I use the "Near" search field for?

The "Near" field allows you to search for contacts in markets nationwide. You can also search for contacts around your current location.

Using the Near field, try searches like "San Clemente, CA"  (without quotations) to get a feel for how it behaves and what suggestions you're provided.

3. I am getting an error that my current location cannot be found. What could be happening?

Current Location will request the location of your Internet Browser. The first time you select this option you will be prompted to provide access to Model Match so we can retrieve this information. Some browsers may block this out-of-the-box and you may be required to provide permission in the settings.

We've included some helpful instructions below on steps you should take if you're consistently receiving this error or did not receive a prompt to provide Model Match with permission.

Chrome / Brave

1. Open your Browser Settings

2. Using the Search field, type in Location

3. Click "Site Settings"

4. Under "Permissions" select "Location"

5. You'll find every URL (website) that you've provided Location Permissions to in the past or ones that you've blocked. Confirm that https://app.model-match.com is not blocked - if it is, you'll want to remove it from the block list.

Firefox

1. Open your Browser Settings

2. Using the Search field, type in Location

3. Click "Site Settings"

4. Under "Permissions", you'll find "Location" as an option.

6. Next to "Location" click "Settings"

5. You'll find every URL (website) that you've provided Location Permissions to in the past or ones that you've blocked. Confirm that https://app.model-match.com is not blocked - if it is, you'll want to remove it from the block list.

6. You may also want to toggle on "Allow sites to ask for my location" to prevent this error from occurring in the future.

4. I see contacts in my results that do not appear to have any licenses and their employment history is blank.

While results may vary, we typically find that contacts that do not show any state licenses associated to their NMLS ID are only federally licensed and are associated with Banks or Credit Unions. These same contacts typically will not contain any employment history data. Employment History is currently an experimental feature and our team is continuously working to improve on our database.

5. How can I avoid adding duplicate contacts into my Requisitions (Pipeline)?

When viewing results in Market Insights, Model Match will check contacts to see if they already exist in any Requisition on your account. If they do exist, we will display an indicator, an orange dot, next to the contact name. Hovering your mouse over this indicator will display any Requisitions they are assigned to.

Additionally, when selecting all contacts on a page inside of Market Insights we will skip over any contact that is marked as duplicate.
