We get it! When you're first getting starting out with any new platform or technology it can be overwhelming. The team at Model Match is here to help and we've created this guide to help get you started off on the right foot!

Creating your first Requisition (pipeline)

We are firm believers that it's best to start simple. If you haven't already, we recommend creating a Requisition. Requisitions are pipelines - simple as that. You use Requisitions to organize contacts, collaborate with your team by sharing activity and contacts and can be used to narrow down your view when tracking efforts. You can add team members when creating a Requisition but don't worry, you can always add team members later as well

This article will help guide you through how to create your first Requisition.

Adding Contacts to your Account

Once you have your first Requisition, it's time to start adding contacts to your account. There are a number of ways you can add contacts to your account; single contacts, in-bulk or via Market Insights. You can also mark contacts as Private (visible only to yourself) or as a Company contact (shared to all users).

This article will help guide you through how to add contacts one-by-one to your account.

If you're moving contacts from another platform or a spreadsheet that you've been managing, this article will help guide you through how to import contacts in bulk. Our team is also here to help with migration. We highly recommend leaning our team until your comfortable moving forward with this task yourself. Contact our team here.

Link Your Outlook Account to Send Emails

Now that you've created your first Requisition and started importing contacts to your pipeline, it's time to get a few things cleaned up so you can get started communicating with your contacts. We recommend connecting your Outlook account to Model Match. Once connected, you'll be able to send outbound emails to your contacts, create email templates and set up your signature.

This article will help guide you through how to connect your Outlook account to Model Match. Additionally, you can use this article to learn how to create Email Templates and setting up your Signature.
