Troubleshooting - Unable to Select Pipeline When Adding Contacts from Market Insights

Having trouble selecting a Pipeline when trying to add contacts from Market Insights? This guide will help you understand why Pipelines may not appear in the drop down and how to resolve the issue.

"The pipeline I want to add these contacts to is not available in the Pipeline list"

This message typically appears when you have selected a group of contacts, or a contact that is already assigned to the Pipeline you're trying to select.

💡 You should know that if any of the selected Real Estate Agents or Loan Officers are already assigned to a Pipeline, that Pipeline will not show in the dropdown. This prevents contacts from being added to the same Pipeline twice.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Verify if any selected contacts are marked as potential duplicates
    • Check the Market Insights results table for duplicate indicators
    • If contacts are marked as duplicates, they are most likely already assigned to the Pipeline you're trying to select
    • Select a different Pipeline from the drop down
  2. Use the "No Duplicates" filter to avoid selecting contacts that are already in Pipelines:
    • Click "Add Filter" in Market Insights
    • Select the "No Duplicates" filter from the menu
    • This will automatically exclude contacts that have already been added to any Pipeline
  3. Verify that you have access to the Pipeline, and the Pipeline is 'Active' only Pipelines that are in the Active status, and that you are assigned to will be available in the drop down. Navigate to the Pipelines page to verify that you are assigned to the Pipeline, and it is Active.          

💡 You should know that using the "No Duplicates" filter will help streamline your contact selection process and prevent duplicate assignment issues.

Understanding Duplicate Prevention

Model Match's duplicate prevention system works by:

  • Checking existing Pipeline assignments before displaying available Pipelines
  • Hiding Pipelines that already contain any of your selected contacts
  • Preventing accidental duplicates from being created in your Pipeline management

🧠 Need to add a contact to multiple Pipelines? If you need the same contact in different Pipelines for legitimate business reasons, you'll need to add them separately to each Pipeline, selecting only that individual contact each time.
